The 2 soldiers are responsible for distribution of the balls.

The soldier on the right is Zach Alessi-Friedlander who is from Nick's hometown (Wilton) and his mother was involved with the collection of the balls. She also arranged for the soccer shirts which are from Nick's youth soccer program
